Aspire P-16 Leadership


Aspire P-16 Board and Members

The Board is responsible for overall policy and direction of the organization, determines the organization’s mission, vision, and values, selects and evaluates the Executive Director, assesses its own performance, and has fiduciary responsibility for the organization.  It delegates day-to-day operations to the Executive Director.  The Board shall have 27 members. The Board receives no compensation for its service.

The Board consists of permanent and rotating members selected from the Collaborative membership representing the following:

Education (Permanent members)

  • Wittenberg University (President)
  • Clark State Community College (President)
  • Superintendent – Education Service Center
  • Superintendent – Joint Vocational School
  • Superintendent – Springfield City School District
  • Superintendent – A Clark County School District
  • One teacher elected from Aspire P-16 Collaborative membership

    Business Community

    Executive Director, Chamber of Commerce (Permanent)

    Two persons elected from the Aspire P-16 Collaborative membership

    Foundations: (Permanent members)

  • Executive Director – Turner Foundation
  • Executive Director – Springfield Foundation
  • Executive Director – Nehemiah Foundation

    Agencies and organizations, including faith-based

    Two persons elected from Aspire P-16 Collaborative membership

    Government and Public Officials

  • Two persons elected from Aspire P-16 Collaborative membership

     

    The Executive Director of the Collaborative is a non-voting member of the Board.
